Max

One rainy day, Max wanted to go out and play. I decided to put on his rain coat that he got last year for his birthday. The sleeves were a bit short but still worked. He put on his rain boots and headed out side. I didn't have any pictures of him in the rain so I went out side and took some pictures of him in the rain.

Nick's Hair Cut

Nickolas decided to get his hair cut to support mom's fight against breast cancer. He wanted to go from a 0 to 1 which is pretty close to bald, so I suggested to go from 1 to 2 which he ended up liking that idea. He goes to get his hair cut and tells the beautician that he was doing this to support his mom, and made the lady cry as she was cutting his hair. She didn't mess up, thank goodness.

FIRE!

Well it's true about the Pabla house there is never a dull moment, like for example I Nick was upstairs in my room cleaning it because it desperately needed to clean. So im up there while everyone is downstairs enjoying there evening. I said to myself "wow my room smells i think im going to lite a candle" I lite the candle and without thinking i threw it right in my personal trash can with out blowing the match out. I turn around to start picking up my cloths when i hear the smoke detector going off. So i swing around and see my trash can in FLAMES!!! I started to freak out and without thinking again I pick up the trash can and head for the front door. Running down the stairs and almost killing myself tripping over Sterling's backpack, I headed toward the front door when I hear mom saying "HOLY SHIT Randy i got to go we have fire" I didn't stop to talk to her my goal was to make it to the front door. Then i hear Sterling yell "what the fudge did you do" and of course i didn't associate with him. I finally made it to the front door not knowing what to do when i got a brilliant idea. Where's my camera? I run back upstairs grab my camera go rushing down the stairs trip over Sterling's backpack, i didn't care the only thing that was in my mind was to get a pic of the fire that i had caused. So i finally got outside when a car pulls over to see what was going on i didn't bother to talk to him because well my trash can is on fire so then i hear the guy getting back in his Ford Mustang and taking off. So after i got my shots of the fire and while Mom, Jessica, and Sterling are laughing there heads off i went and got the hose to put out the fire! but then we couldn't find the hose, Sterling runs into the kitchen and cant find a big enough cup to put out the fire. So you see Sterling making 4 trips outside then running back inside for some water. We eventually got the fire out and returned to what ever we were doing before. And that is what happened between the time of 11:30 PM to 11:45 PM

Singing in the Rain

Sterling is in his schools play "Singing in the Rain" and the part he is playing required him to cut his hair. Yes I said CUT HIS HAIR. When the teacher told him that all of his class mates looked at him with horrified looks and he almost cried. He came home and told us all that he needed to cut his hair. I think I laughed a bit.

Zany

Let me tell you a story... Today the Clan had more then their share of kids over. We had Heidi's kids Malik, Brooklyn and Dallan. We had Beau's brothers kids Zany and Tallan over too. I was downstairs when I hear A.Barbara yelling Heidi's name over and over again. Zany has had croup for a day and a half now, and Zany was walking into the kitchen because Savannah was going to make her a butter and sugar sandwich (I guess it helps. but really it doesn't) anyway she was walking out of the bathroom when she tripped on one of moms carpets. She went to catch herself, drew in a breath and couldn't let it out. She tried to cry but no air would come out. She fell to the ground, A.Barbara saw her fall and walked into the kitchen to pick her up and noticed she was not breathing. She called for Heidi, then a bit louder, and so loud I heard her down stairs in my room. I came up to see A.Barbara on the floor holding Zany in her arms just gasping for air. She was a bit blue and all the kids were around wanting to see what happened to Zany. I shooed the kids into the living room go give A.Barbara some room as well as Heidi. By now the police were here at our house. They took her oxygen levels in the kitchen, which they was down to 50. A very scary level. They came in and told us to move our table so, if they needed to bring a stretcher in to take Zany out on. But that didn't happen and A.Barbara just took Zany out to the Ambulance. Then the fire truck had arrived and two other police cars. The neighbors started to gather outside their homes to speculate what had happened. One neighbor particular -whom we don't get along with- walked down from across two streets just to see WHAT IS GOING ON. ggrrr. Anyway they took Zany to the Lakeview hospital took a few x-rays and her airway was the size of a sewing needle. That night they took her over to Primary Children Medical Center, she is still at the hospital. They are keeping her for observations. But other then that she just has a terrible case of the Croup. She is expected to come home today.

HAPPY EARTH DAY

Nick's 16 Birthday

Nicks 16 Birthday was on April 14 and because it was on a Tuesday he didn't invite any friends he is saving that for this Saturday. During Lunch Nick got checked out of his Drivers ED class and went up to the DMV to get his license and he only missed 6 on the driving test!! Then when everyone got home from school we started cooking Nicks favorite dinner enchiladas, after that we all gathered in the living room and started opening presents. Aunt Jeannie got him a gas card and a strawberry Frappuccino from Star Bucks, Aunt Barbara and Emmalee got him movie tickets, then the presents he got from the whole family were golf balls, T's, and the BIG one a whole new set of golf clubs and a new carrying case you should have seen the look on his face he was not expecting that at all, then he also got a cowboy hat from the Davis family which looks hot on him haha and Jessica got him new skull candy head phones which are totally pimp!

Body Painting with Brooklyn

As some my know I love to paint. On this particular day I was feeling rather liberal and experimental. So I asked Brooklyn if she wanted to paint with me, as always she said yes, because she LOOOVEES to paint, with paints, water, pen, make-up, and marker. Pretty much anything she can find that will leave color on a surface. I went into the twin's bedroom and got out some washable paints and decided to have Brooklyn as my canvas. I sponged dolphin's, turtle's, frog's and elephant's allover her body. Then I painted her face, which Suzi pointed out it made her look like an aborigine, it made me laugh because it does. I then painted her fingers and put dots allover her as well. Then Heidi pulled in and both me and mom said "oh no"because Heidi was there to pick the kids up and Brooklyn was covered in paint. However, we had fun.

Easter MADness

Easter at the Pabla house is nothing short of MAD. This year we had 10 people to entertain with candy and prizes. Easter eve, I had picked up some eggs that were prepackaged with candy and had a reflector band around the egg. It came with 2 flashlights. So naturally I had to pick up 2 packages, for a total of 4 flashlights. Nick, Sterling, Suzi, Savannah, and Max had an Easter egg hunt in the dark. Which ended up taking them forever to find the eggs. And we are missing 2 eggs. I hid them and I still don't remember where they are. Easter morning after a very long night, Woke up to everyone walking around waiting for all to wake up. At about 9:30 we all were up and the hunt for the Easter baskets started. The winner was Suzi finding her basket first, then Nick, Hillary, Sterling, Savannah, Emmalee, then the adults, A.Barbara, Jessica, and MOM were given their baskets by the kids. Max was woken up and showed where his basket was. Once the baskets were collected it was time to raid the candy eggs, soda, and chips which were placed inside and out allover. Good times to be had by all.

Heidi's Easter Egg Hunt
After Easter morning was over Heidi invited us up to her house to have dinner and have an Easter egg hunt. Everyone went up to her house Family from both sides were there. Beau's brother's wife's family all came, and all of our family went up so there were a lot of people there, but we had a great time. We had a ham dinner from the Honey Baked Ham store. TASTY stuff dinner was. Then the egg hunt began.

Now it's all of the other kids turn to go find eggs, some even have money in themThe search for the Golden Egg resulted in wrestling over who found them. Nick was the winner in finding the egg that had 10 bucks in it. The other eggs had 5 dollars
