Happy Birthday Suzy and Savannah

OK! so I am a bad sister and have neglected the fun events in Suzy and Savannah's life. As many of you know they spent a month in India visiting their grandparents and cousins. Here is the story: When they first went over they thought it smelled strange and was way to weird altogether. The food tasted strange and very spicy. For example, they would have french toast with cilantro, eggs with cilantro well just about everything cilantro in it. They were forced to learn some Punjabi, because only two people and their dad spoke any English. They went to the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India. They thought it was so cool, they had to take off their shoes to go inside and they weren't suppose to take any pictures inside the temple but they did anyway.




























One day their dad had to go to the bank to get some money. The twins stayed in the car with their cousin Ani-mol. All of the sudden a beggar came up to the car and knocked on the window, which made them jump out of their skin. Then the beggar reached for the door handle and started to get in the car with them, the twins started to scream and Savannah who was in the passenger side, was freaking out she, as fast as she could, got out the drivers door and ran inside the bank, leaving Suzy and Ani-mol in the car with the beggar. By the time they came out he was gone and everyone was safe.
The Twins spent their birthday in India. They spent most of the day preparing for their party. The house doesn't have a stove so they went into the city to pick up a birthday cake. A Chocolate and Vanilla Cake. The family gathered to celebrate the Twins birthday, they said that everyone fed them cake. Which is a sign of respect. Also, everyone kept on taking pictures of them eating the cake, which made Savannah embarrassed. They thought the cake tasted funny after eating the first bite and told mom that they had cooked the chocolate cake with onions in it. Mom talked to Sodhi and asked him if they cooked onions in the cake, he calmly said "no it's garlic". LOL.


















They spent several days visiting sites around the northern part of India. They took pictures of monkeys while traveling and this one place have statues of people killing other people, and for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it. The Twins also took pictures of Marijuana leaves that grew everywhere around their. They thought it was really funny.














By the time to come home, they didn't want to. They were having too much fun, and who wouldn't. No School, No Chores because they had maids, No one telling you NO, and doing what ever you want. Mom was going to let them stay because they were happy over their. But I guess Sodhi didn't get the message and brought them home anyway. Suzy had trouble readjusting in the beginning but she is fine now. Savannah however is still having a hard time. She misses them everyday and calls India often.

Oh Nick

Yesterday Nick went out on his first date, first blind date and was it one to remember.

I tore my muscle and ligaments in my neck while I was on a date.

I was actually playing volleyball with eight other people and I really don't know what happened I went to get the ball and when I went to get back up my neck hurt so bad. It hurt bad enough that I had to ask my date to take me home, once I was home I told my mom to take me to the hospital and they said I will be out this whole week but i have to go to school to get my grades up. So this pretty much sucks!!! Quote from Nick's Facebook.


When Nick came home the Twins came running in saying that Nick broke his neck and mom took him to the hospital, they said that if he continued to wear the neck brace then his neck would weaken and that would be really bad. He is on three pain killers and is home from school for a while, hopefully he can go back for the last days of school. He will need lots of physical therapy too. Dang.

Max's Last day of Preschool

Congratulations MAX. You did so good with your writing and speech. The class put on a program for the parents. Max however got stage fright and did not move for the entire performance. Every time he would look up I would smile, he would huff and look down. It was kind of funny. Then they had a ceremony where the kids would walk up and received a "diploma" and their folder from the year, which Max was their for two years his folder was REALLY big compared. Then we had cake and a treats.

Happy Birthday Mom

Happy Birthday mom. Most of the clan members got together to celebrate mom's birthday. She turned 52 on MAY 23. wow 52. Not much happened, because were all poor right now. So I bought her a cake from the Centerville Dicks Market, which they are not the best any more. Her cake was lopsided and the frosting colors weren't what I wanted. It did taste good though. We (Heidi, Jessica, Sterling and Nick) blew up a ton of balloon's, which we originally going to put them in her room while she was sleeping but of course she didn't fully fall asleep so when ever we attempted to put them in she would say "who's their". In the morning when she was having a shower we put the balloon's in her room. And she sneaked in the middle of the night looking at what we had done. GRRR. For her party we had an indoor movie day and night, with theater popcorn and candy. yum yum. A. Barb went to the Dunford bakery and got her, her favorite chocolate doughnuts. Flowers for the yard. And Cafe Rio gift card from Kim- Heidi's sister-in-law. All in all it was a fun, relaxing day for the clan.

Name Troubles

We have a problem with Heidi's new baby's name. She has named him officially- Dallan Woodhouse Davis. First things first, Kim, Heidi's sister-in-law named her baby Tallan which was the name they agreed on because she wanted her baby to be Dallan, because Beau's brother thought that Dallan was his middle name. Which Dallan is really Beau's middle name. How you could get confused I dont know. So Heidi and Beau have been trying new names for their baby. We have come up with Kale, Basil- which is my personal favorite-, Tristion, JR, or just to keep Dallan Woodhouse. So if anyone has any good names for this new addition to the Clan let us now.

Sterling's Play

Singing In The Rain

Sterling was in his school's production of Singing In The Rain. He had one speaking part which he was awesome at. I went to the matinee showing and took the pictures. During one of the costume changes the cast members had to improvise, and they ended up talking about the piano. They asked why is the piano pink? the guy who was in charge of moving the piano in and out of scene said from behind the curtain SORRY! It was funny, and the whole show was fantastic. Good job Sterling.

Max

One rainy day, Max wanted to go out and play. I decided to put on his rain coat that he got last year for his birthday. The sleeves were a bit short but still worked. He put on his rain boots and headed out side. I didn't have any pictures of him in the rain so I went out side and took some pictures of him in the rain.

Nick's Hair Cut

Nickolas decided to get his hair cut to support mom's fight against breast cancer. He wanted to go from a 0 to 1 which is pretty close to bald, so I suggested to go from 1 to 2 which he ended up liking that idea. He goes to get his hair cut and tells the beautician that he was doing this to support his mom, and made the lady cry as she was cutting his hair. She didn't mess up, thank goodness.

FIRE!

Well it's true about the Pabla house there is never a dull moment, like for example I Nick was upstairs in my room cleaning it because it desperately needed to clean. So im up there while everyone is downstairs enjoying there evening. I said to myself "wow my room smells i think im going to lite a candle" I lite the candle and without thinking i threw it right in my personal trash can with out blowing the match out. I turn around to start picking up my cloths when i hear the smoke detector going off. So i swing around and see my trash can in FLAMES!!! I started to freak out and without thinking again I pick up the trash can and head for the front door. Running down the stairs and almost killing myself tripping over Sterling's backpack, I headed toward the front door when I hear mom saying "HOLY SHIT Randy i got to go we have fire" I didn't stop to talk to her my goal was to make it to the front door. Then i hear Sterling yell "what the fudge did you do" and of course i didn't associate with him. I finally made it to the front door not knowing what to do when i got a brilliant idea. Where's my camera? I run back upstairs grab my camera go rushing down the stairs trip over Sterling's backpack, i didn't care the only thing that was in my mind was to get a pic of the fire that i had caused. So i finally got outside when a car pulls over to see what was going on i didn't bother to talk to him because well my trash can is on fire so then i hear the guy getting back in his Ford Mustang and taking off. So after i got my shots of the fire and while Mom, Jessica, and Sterling are laughing there heads off i went and got the hose to put out the fire! but then we couldn't find the hose, Sterling runs into the kitchen and cant find a big enough cup to put out the fire. So you see Sterling making 4 trips outside then running back inside for some water. We eventually got the fire out and returned to what ever we were doing before. And that is what happened between the time of 11:30 PM to 11:45 PM
